Pathogen Biology
This session at Virology 2026 focuses on understanding the biological characteristics, evolution, and disease mechanisms of pathogens affecting global health. Attendees will gain insights into host–pathogen interactions, microbial adaptation, infection pathways, and emerging technologies supporting diagnostics, prevention, and therapeutic development. Special attention will be given to viral and bacterial diseases influencing public health and immunization strategies worldwide.
